Where else can you ring a bell and champagne appears, chuck rubber ducks and rock out to a one of a kind band? That’s just anther Saturday night with One for the Kids. On March 4th, over 400 guests gathered at the Hyatt to raise money for the Ryan family and our partner charities.
It was a pleasant surprise when the event sold out months before the big night! The support that was shown from the Ryan family and their friends was amazing!
As guests arrived, they couldn’t miss the champagne wall. Ring the bell and two glasses of champagne popped through the wall – talk about service! Another attraction not to be missed – artist Niki from Niki Urban Art creating a live picture of the Ryan family. Finally, a string quartet played soothing serenades making the perfect backdrop for cocktails and conversation.
By popular demand, the game of chuck your duck returned to the main ball room and showed some of the more competitive side of our guests!
New to the Curve Ball was GoBrewing, which was founded by board member, Joe Chura. GoBrewing is a delicious non-alcoholic craft beer that was quite the popular spot throughout the night.
Bob Lanigan took the stage to address the reason why we were all gathered together. After watching this incredible video about Lucy and Winnie Ryan’s story, we opened it up for donation opportunities and our hearts were warmed by the kindness everyone showed! Shortly after, Twice The Action band took the stage and rocked the night away.
A huge thank you to our event committee for the successful execution and the Ryan family for opening up your hearts and support system to our organization!
Lastly, thank you to all of our sponsors, donors and supporters who truly made this night a success for the Ryan family and our partner charities!
