32nd Annual Golf Outing

On August 9th, we kicked off our 32nd year on the golf course for a great cause. The weather was perfect, the Special Olympians were present and we had an incredible group of golfers ready to play. We raised over $50K this year and couldn’t have done it without your support!

We’re always so grateful to have our partner charities present for the day including the incredible athletes from Special Children’s Charities. Our guest singer and special olympian, Siobhan, led us in a beautiful rendition of God Bless America. After the helicopter dropped all purchased golf balls, we declared one lucky winner and we were off to start the day.

Each year, the themed holes showcase creativity and unique entertainment. Have you ever thought of what your walk up song would be as you tee off? The “Take Me out the Ball Game” hole made sure that every golfer had their own song, the game day essentials – cracker jack, nachos + peanuts and delicious light beer.

Not Your Father’s Foundation, a One for the Kids charity, really tested golfer’s skills with special “beer goggle” which made for lots of laughs and some surprisingly good tee off shots.

Speaking of beer, the “Bears, Beers + Bubbles” hole was back! Hotdogs, drinks and the Bears fight song are always a favorite stop along the course.

Another fun and colorful hotspot – The Pelican Harry’s Sports Grill and American Promotions & Apparel hole. Thanks to our lovely volunteers and the amateur pros who made this happen!

The party didn’t stop there – as golfers came in from the course, Elvis was back in the building and better than ever. There was great food, music and winners announced. Thanks to all of our golfers for a fabulous day of having a great time for a great cause! We can’t wait for August 8th of next year!

Lastly, a HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors. We appreciate your continued support and we can’t wait to see you next year!
