2026 Curve Ball Recap

What do you get when you put a mime, a drum line, a magician and Elvis all in one room? Just another incredible classic night at the Curve Ball! On Saturday, February 28th over 240 guests gathered at City Hall Events to raise money for the Stanley family and our partner charities, Advocate Children’s Heart Institute and Special Children’s Charities.

This was our first year having the event in the city and boy did our supporters show up! By popular demand, we had to have the chuck-a-duck split the pot return and board member Jim Gilligan took the sales pitch very seriously!

Bob Lanigan, our new president and VP, Jim Gilligan took the stage to address the reason why we were all gathered together. After watching this incredible video about the Stanley family story, we opened it up for donation opportunities and our hearts were warmed by the kindness everyone showed! Shortly after, The Paul Windsor Orchestra took the stage and rocked the night away. One of the biggest highlights from the evening was seeing Greyson dance quite literally all night long!

A huge thank you to our event committee for the successful execution and the Stanley family for opening up your hearts and support system to our organization!

Lastly, thank you to all of our sponsors, donors and supporters who truly made this night a success for this family and our partner charities!
